CLIL History
How ancient Egyptians make a mummy
- Mr Green dice : "Egyptian history is fantastic!"
 - Wash the body in Nile water.
 - Take out the organs: liver, lungs, intestines and stomach.
 - Put them in canopic jars, special containers for the organs.
 - Each jar has a lid with the head of a god.
 - Hapi is the god with a baboon head and represents the NORTH. It contains the lungs.
 - Duamutef is the god with a jackal head and represents the EAST. It contains the stomach.
 - Imsety is the god with a human head and represents the SOUTH and contains the liver.
 - Qebehsenuef is the god with a falcon head and represents the WEST . This jar contains the intestines.
 - Cover the body with a special salt called natron
 - After forty days the body is completely dry.
 - Fill the body with spices and plants.
 - Put lucky amulets under the bandages and say spells to activate their magical powers.
 - Put the mummy in a coffin
 - Then put the mummy in another coffin, and that coffin in another coffin.
 - Then, put it in a secret room inside the pyramid.
 - In this pyramid you can find a magic word:
 - Look!
